Directions

1. Step 1Put strawberries in a bowl. Add sugar, lemon zest, and vanilla and stir. Let macerate for about 30 minutes at room temperature. The sugar will draw out the juices to make a delicious syrup.
2. Step 2Top with a sprig of mint before serving.
