This raspberry sorbet spritz is a delightfully boozy dessert cocktail that will elevate any celebration! Made with raspberry sorbet and sparkling rosé, this blushing pink cocktail is as pleasing to the eye as it is the palate. A shot of orange liquor keeps things bright and balanced. A common downfall of regular spitz cocktails is they can be watered down with ice. But never fear: In this drink, the sorbet acts as sweet, flavorful ice cubes that will only improve the taste of the champagne cocktail!

What are the key ingredients in a raspberry sorbet spritz?

This spritz combines sparkling rosé, orange liqueur, and raspberry sorbet. Each of these ingredients can be easily substituted depending on tastes! While very pretty, the sparkling rosé can be replaced with regular prosecco, cava, or other sparkling wine. With the wide array of sorbets available these days, why choose just one? Allow your guests to play around with different flavors such as mango, strawberry, or lemon! Depending on the sorbet of choice, the orange liqueur can also be swapped for floral St-Germain or fruity Chambord.

What can you eat with a raspberry sorbet spritz?

While this cocktail is a delightful close to a meal, it can also be a wonderful, refreshing first cocktail with a sprawling charcuterie board. The dry wine and the fruity sorbet pair beautifully with creamy cheese and toasted nuts. It would also make a great brunch cocktail with croissant bread pudding, eggs Benedict strata, or a bacon, egg, and cheese pastry.
